Most vacancies in Switzerland are advertised online; newspapers also publish job supplements. Start here:

  • Job-Room – the job platform of the public employment service, run by SECO; employers must post vacancies in occupations with high unemployment here first,
  • EURES – the European job portal; EURES advisers in your home country can help you prepare the move,
  • jobs.admin.ch – vacancies in the Swiss federal administration.

If you already live in Switzerland and are looking for work, you can register with your regional employment centre (RAV/ORP/URC). Private employment agencies are another common route.
